Starting from January 1, 2007 entry visas to Moldova are no longer required for the following groups of countries:
- the member states of the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Great Britain, Holland, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden;
- Canada, Japan, Iceland, Norway, Swiss Confederation, USA;
The rest of the countries need visas to enter Moldova.
- Citizens of Croatia, Israel and Turkey do not need invitations to obtain a visa for a period of stay of up to 90 days.
- Citizens of all the rest of the countries require invitation letters to get their visas for Moldova. If
